The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional; and the hotel has very modern amenities. Unbelievably clean, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of both European foods and standard American fare such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Secure parking under the hotel helped put my mind at ease. You would have to search for a reason to not be satisfied.

Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Smaczne śniadanie, duży wybór, możliwość zrobienia kawy na wynos- dostępne jednorazowe kubki (nie korzystaliśmy, ale opcja ta cieszyła się zainteresowaniem innych klientów). This is a beautiful property with grape arbors in the courtyard and lovely balconies. Parking just outside the hotel is easy in the low season. The bathroom was a nice size, and the included breakfast buffet had plentiful choices. There is a walk along the Rhine of about a kilometer into the main town of Cochem.

Terrific value for location and amenities the hotel offers. Good amount of free parking, some covered but also cheap public parking opposite. The hotel is very clean and there's a formal restaurant as well as a more casual bar with cheaper options. My room was overlooking the vineyards and was lovely. Fridge/mini bar, BBC news channel, good sized bathroom with good pressure hot shower. Large wardrobe and safe. Breakfast was excellent, very pleasant staff. A good hot and cold selection. The pool is small but adequate for children or cooling off. The sauna area is lovely with bio and Finnish Sauna. There's large supermarket about 10 minutes drive and small one just a few buildings away. Lots of places to eat nearby.

We booked a suite since we were only staying the one night. The suite was very cozy and comfortable with an amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the variety of saunas.
